Dr. Ella is involved in shaping India’s science education and policy as well as International collaboration as Advisor and Member of a number of Scientific Advisory Committees, Chairman of Board of Governors, National Institute of Technology, Member of Governing Body - Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Research Council Member of Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB), National Biotech Policy, Indo-US High Technology Cooperation Groups, among others.

 

Dr. Ella is a bioscientist and an accomplished entrepreneur with higher studies at the University of Hawaii and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison followed by faculty position at the Medical University of South Carolina in USA.
