Melissa Malhame

 

Melissa Malhame, Head of Market Shaping, at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance leads the design and implementation of Gavi’s market shaping strategy.  Following Gavi market shaping goals, Melissa is responsible for working with Alliance partners and industry to ensure adequate supply of appropriate vaccines to meet demand and minimizing the costs of vaccines to Gavi and countries.  

Prior to joining Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance in 2013, Melissa has nearly 20 years of experience in the vaccine industry both at a large multi-national vaccine manufacturer and with an emerging vaccine company in the U.S.. Melissa’s experience includes leading late stage vaccine development, business and commercial development, marketing and sales.

 

Melissa Malhame received a Masters in Business Administration from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
