Dr Stephen Inglis

 

is Director of the National Institute for Biological Standards and
Control (NIBSC), a Centre within the UK’s Medicines and
Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). Dr Inglis is a
member of the MHRA Executive Management Team and serves
on a number of UK advisory committees. Prior to that, Dr Inglis
spent 12 years in the biotechnology industry, and helped to set
up Cantab Pharmaceuticals, a company focused on development
of novel vaccines and biotherapeutics. He trained in
Biochemistry and received a Ph.D. in virology from Cambridge
University.
